advocacy

What We Do:

We are a council of pediatric residents passionate about advocacy and children's health issues:

  • To help residents develop the habits, confidence and skills needed to advocate for children and families on both a micro and macroscale

  • To provide a community for residents where they feel supported and inspired in order to carry out advocacy action items

    • Specifically, to host advocacy activity per month, either a “Take Action Tuesday” noon conference or an outside event on a timely advocacy topic

  • To connect residents with faculty mentors who exemplify how to incorporate advocacy into a career in pediatrics

  • Opportunities with AAP-CA2:
