If you are on a Peds “+1” week:

Didactic Expectations
Out of respect for our speakers and faculty, please:

Arrive to all sessions on time. Be present and engaged.

Please make your didactics talks interactive! These are a great opportunity to practice teaching skills.

Upload any prepared slides or teaching materials prior to didactics using the Submission Form below.
ADVOCACY COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT HALF DAYS
Admin Time
On your Admin half day...
-
We encourage you to use this time to catch up on clinic notes, follow-up on labs for your patients, log your work hours, make a doctors appointment, go to the dentist, visit the Behavior Wellness Center, work on research, update your CV, etc. This is your half day - make the time work for you.

There will be times that we schedule group PALS, NRP, BLS training and Fit Testing during your admin time.
Elective Time
In addition to your 4 half-days of continuity clinic, you will also have 4 half-days of elective time. Exceptions include:

PGY1: You will participate in the TWO "+1+DEV" weeks that will include DEV clinics instead of subspecialty clinics. Please check your individual schedules.

PGY2/PGY3: You will participate in track experiences if you're in PHABB, the Hospitalist-Fellowship track, or a PGY2 in the Global Health track. Track content will take place during your +1 week, except for PHABB 1 & PHABB 2, which will also include some X-blocked time:
