The General Pediatrics In-Training Exam will be administered to UCLA Pediatric and Medicine-Pediatric Residents on the following dates/times/locations:

• Mon, July 13th 1pm-5pm - Westwood Room 14-214U

• Tues, July 14th 1pm-5pm - Geffen Hall 130

• Wed, July 15th 1pm-5pm - Geffen Hall 130

• Thurs, July 16th 1pm-5pm - Sunset Room 17-256 CHS

• Fri, July 17th 1pm-5pm - Sunset Room 17-256 CHS

• Mon, July 20th 1pm-5pm - Brentwood Room 16-154 CHS

Exam Structure:

• The exam will be conducted through the American Board of Pediatric online platform

• Residents will take the exam on their own compatible device (laptop or iPad). Please bring your own laptop or iPad!

  • Please review the ITE Resident Instructions (Computer, Ipad) 5-7 days prior to the exam test date to run a systems check on your device.

  • Please make sure your device meets the following minimum system requirements. Otherwise, you will not be able to connect to the servers to test.

    • Windows: Windows 10 or later and the latest version of Microsoft Edge or one version earlier

    • Mac: Mac OS X 10.15 and Safari 15.0 or later are required

    • iPad: iOS 16 or later on an iPad 5th generation or newer is required

• Residents are permitted to use scratch paper and a pen/pencil. These items will be provided by the program and collected at the end of the exam.

Location: Westwood Room 14-214U CHS

CHS = Center for Health Sciences Building

From the main hospital entrance, cross Westwood Blvd. and enter CHS through the Resnick entrance

Continuing walking until you reach to a set of elevators.

Take the elevators to the first floor

Upon exiting the elevator area, make a left down corridor 7

Keep walking, go past the cafeteria on your left and the big wall with the TV screens

You should eventually see a sign for the Westwood Room on your right hand side. If you hit corridor 2 or another set of elevators on your right then you walked too far.

Location: Sunset Room 17-256 CHS

CHS = Center for Health Sciences Building

From the main hospital entrance, cross Westwood Blvd. and enter CHS through the Resnick entrance

Continuing walking until you reach to a set of elevators.

Take the elevators to the first floor

Upon exiting the elevator area, make a left down corridor 7

Walk until you pass the cafeteria on your left and you hit the wall on yur left with the TV screens.

The Sunset room will be on your right (across from occupational health)

From the main hospital entrance, cross Westwood Blvd. and enter CHS through the Resnick entrance

Continuing walking until you reach to a set of elevators.

Take the elevators to the first floor

Upon exiting the elevator area, make a left down corridor 7

Walk until you hit corridor 6 and make a left. Corridor  6 is BEFORE the wall with the TV screens and BEFORE Cafe Med.

Room 154 will be on the right hand side of corridor 6.
