Diversity Workshop

Implicit Bias Tests (https://implicit.harvard.edu/implicit/takeatest.html)

1. • Spend about 5 minutes prior to the workshop to attempt TWO implicit bias tests.

   • As a baseline, everyone should take a test on gender, and then the second test can be a topic of your choice.

   • Your reactions to taking the tests will be discussed during the workshop.

2. Social Identity Grid

   • Take a look at the social identity grid (see below)

   • Think about how you tend to identify yourself and which identities become most salient for you in different situations or contexts. 

   • This doesn't need to be filled out or turned in, just review prior to the workshop.
