Documenting in NextGen is probably going to be more like a bucket of frustration when you're first starting.  However, we are so lucky, because we have EMR trainers at our site & chiefs/staff/senior residents who know what they're doing! In addition, we all understand that it is difficult. However, with a few tricks/maneuvers, we can get you from a "snail pace" to an "Alvin Chan run" in no time!

Quick tip: make NextGen work for you. Don't forget to document your usual information: cc, hpi, ros, pmh, psh, sh, fh, rx, imm, all, pe, labs, a/p, etc.! If you document it in the wrong spot, that's probably ok. If you don't document it at all, not so much.
