Rotation Summary:
The elective is focused on the best practices for caring for people with neurodevelopmental disabilities across the lifespan. The rotation primarily features clinical experiences in LEND clinic, an interdisciplinary clinic designed for neurodiverse patients, including in a primary care setting.
Goals and Objectives:

Assess and manage the medical, developmental, and psychosocial needs of individuals with neurodevelopmental disabilities and recognize how these needs evolve across the lifespan

Develop and implement individualized, comprehensive primary care plans

Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration, working with specialists from various fields to address the holistic needs of neurodiverse individuals
