Located at 200 Medical Plaza Suite 330

In general, there are half-day clinics every day. Patients are usually put in the room at 7:30 to 8:00 AM and again at 1:00 PM. All attending‘s are fine with residents seeing their patients and then staffing. The fellows do have lectures or conference most days at 7:30 AM that they listen to in their office in 5235 in the Reagan Hospital. Please feel free to reach out to the fellows for morning lectures and any cardiology procedures!

Peds Cardiology +1 Weeks

Location: 3rd Floor in the 200 Medical Plaza Building, Suite 330 - Children's Heart Center

Care Connect Context: PEDS CHILD HRT CTR MP2

Time: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. (variable based on clinic day)

Workflow: You will be working directly with the attendings. Fellow presence is variable.

  • Review patients for each day before hand

  • Arrive to clinic and head to the "Provider's Room" (back of the clinic, ask the front desk or MAs to assist you)

  • Discuss with the attending physician in clinic (there could be many on a given day) on their preference of which patients to see and what notes to write

  • "Copy Forward" a prior note if return visit, or ask the attending for their specific "new patient" template

    • Certain specialty clinics will have NPs that see patients with the attendings; you are welcome to help in those clinics as well.
